Safe Environment

“Jesus, however, called the children to himself and said, ‘Let the children come to me and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

(Luke 18:16)

St. Benedict Ordinariate Catholic Church and the entire Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter is committed to providing a safe environment for all our parishioners – from the youngest to the oldest.
As a part of that effort, the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter has instituted a robust Safe Environment program, in which St. Benedict fully participates. If you would like to read about the Ordinariate’s Safe Environment Policy in detail, please go HERE.

St. Benedict currently has no adult employees or volunteers in any work or ministry position in contact with children, youth or at-risk adults. For any such future programs, however, we shall provide mandatory training (including detailed background checks) for all volunteers who work with children. We shall also provide parents with materials to use in discussing safe environment issues with their own children.
